Jonelle Orridge is currently a doctoral student in Biology at the CUNY Graduate Center in NY, NY. Her concentration is in Ecology, Evolution and Animal Behavior. Fields of Study include: Systematics, Ornithology, Wetland Ecology, Marine Conservation Biology, and Molecular Issues in Ecology. She received her B.S in Biology at St. John’s University (Jamaica, NY) with a minor in Environmental Studies. Fields of Study included: Aquatic Ecology, Pollution Analysis, Natural History of Metropolitan NY, and Botany.

Melissa Whitley is an Environmental Studies student at Adelphi University located in Garden City, NY. Her expected B.C is May 2007. Fields of Study include: Coastal and Wetland Management, Natural Science and Environmental Problems, Environmental Geology, Environmental Politics, and Geohazards. She is also OSHA certified. Melissa now works for NYCDEP. |

Amanda Anjum — Intern July 2006— December 2006 |

Amanda Anjum is a double major in environmental studies and anthropology at Adelphi University located in Garden City, NY. She also is minoring in Forensic anthropology and pre-medicine. . She is president of Adelphi’s Environmental Action Coalition. Fields of Study include: Marine Resources, Weather and Climate, Social Science and Environmental Problems. Amanda graduated with a BS in Environmental Science in the Spring of 2007 and is getting ready to go to medical school. |

Esosa Agbonkonkon is a senior at Brooklyn College of CUNY with a major in geology. She also comes to us with a strong background in the environmental sciences from her studies in Nigeria. Esosa plans to pursue a masters in Environmental Science when she completes her BS.

Latisha Williams, our newest intern, is a senior at Queens College of CUNY with a major in Environmental Biological Sciences. She has always been fascinated with nature and has volunteered and worked for New York City Department of Parks and Recreation since high school . Latisha plans to get her masters in the Environmental Sciences after she graduates this spring. |
